On August 20th, the Hubei Provincial Government Information Office held a series of press conferences on "Achieving Success in the Closing Year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and Planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan", with the first session focusing on regional coordinated development. Mao Mingtian, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, introduced that Hubei has already completed the economic growth target of the 14th Five-Year Plan one year ahead of schedule, with the total economic output surpassing 6 trillion yuan, and the proportion in the central region increasing from 19.5% at the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan to 20.9% by 2024. The regional coordinated development has continuously improved, and its position in the national overall situation has become more stable.
