On August 21st, in response to the online attention regarding a car owner reporting that their 50-liter gas tank was filled with 67.96 liters of gasoline, the Chengdu High-tech Zone Market Supervision Administration in Sichuan Province issued a situation report stating that the gas station in question is the Gaoneng Tianshan Gas Station of Sinopec Sichuan Chengdu Sales Branch, located in the Fangcao Street sub-district of the Chengdu High-tech Zone. The gas pump involved is pump number 06, which was sealed by the staff on the day of the incident on August 9, 2025, and is still out of use. On the 11th, after receiving complaints from the complainant, the Market Supervision Administration of the Fangcao Street sub-district of the High-tech Zone promptly communicated with them and conducted an on-site inspection at the gas station on the 12th. The current situation is under comprehensive investigation, and the next steps will be taken in accordance with the results of the investigation.
