Citibank hires law firm to investigate complaints against wealth management business head Andy Sieg.
Citigroup Group has hired law firm Paul Weiss to investigate complaints against Andy Sieg, the head of its wealth management business. Sieg, recruited by Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser, is a key player responsible for driving the bank's turnaround plan. Sources have revealed that Sieg has been accused by some current and former employees of intimidation and unfair treatment during the restructuring of Citigroup's wealth management business over the past two years. The 58-year-old Sieg not only oversees Citigroup's global wealth management business, but is also a member of the bank's 18-person executive management team, seen on Wall Street as one of Fraser's potential successors.
