The foreign ministers of China, Afghanistan, and Pakistan held their sixth dialogue.
On August 20, 2025 local time, the sixth trilateral dialogue between China, Afghanistan, and Pakistan was held in Kabul, Afghanistan. Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Afghan Foreign Minister Motaki, and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar attended the meeting. Wang Yi stated that since the trilateral foreign ministers' dialogue mechanism was restarted in Tuanxi, Anhui in 2022, we have been promoting cooperation in the political, economic, and security fields based on mutual respect, equal consultation, and win-win cooperation, safeguarding regional peace and security, and addressing various risks and challenges. The world is entering a period of new turbulence and change. President Xi Jinping has put forward important concepts such as building a community with a shared future for mankind, and global development, security, and civilization initiatives, providing important guidance for the three countries to build a better home and a solid foundation for security together.
