Guangzhou launches investigation of safety risks of popular online toys such as "fake water", 2 cases have been filed
Recently, the market supervision department in Guangzhou launched a special action to investigate the safety risks of selling "fake water" and other internet-famous toys. The focus was on school supplies stores, toy stores, and supermarkets around schools in Guangzhou, with a specific emphasis on inspecting the sales of "fake water" and other popular internet toys, whether various business entities have complete licenses, whether they have implemented a system for inspecting and verifying incoming goods, and whether they are engaged in selling counterfeit, unlicensed, or unauthentic children's toys and student supplies without CCC certification. In this action, a total of 1203 law enforcement officers were mobilized by the market supervision department, inspecting 725 related sales units, and monitoring a total of 19 suspected illegal clues related to online sales of "fake water" and other internet-famous toys, of which 2 cases have been filed.
