Starting from August 20th, Southern Airlines will cancel the check-in deadline for Guangzhou-Shanghai Hongqiao flights.

On August 20, Southern Airlines cancelled the previous check-in counter cut-off time of 30 minutes before departure for the Shanghai Hongqiao-Guangzhou round-trip route. Passengers who do not need to check in luggage only need to complete security checks and arrive at the boarding gate before it closes to board. Prior to this, Southern Airlines had also cancelled the check-in cut-off time requirement for the Guangzhou-Beijing Daxing route, and Hainan Airlines had cancelled the check-in cut-off time for the Haikou-Beijing route. For passengers with checked luggage, the cut-off time for checking in luggage for the flight will still be enforced according to airport standards.
