Shanghai Pudong: Strive to nurture 400 pioneering companies and 100 headquarters of companies that go global by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan.

The results of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Shanghai will be released at the series of events on August 20. Li Zheng, member of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Pudong New Area Committee, stated that this year, Pudong New Area focuses on the development strategy of "going out", setting up a comprehensive service center for enterprises to go global. It integrates 11 council units and 72 strategic partners to help domestic enterprises go out and develop with high quality, striving to nurture 400 pioneering enterprises and 100 headquarters of overseas enterprises by the end of the "15th Five-Year Plan". Pudong New Area is orderly promoting the construction of the Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone, and the relevant management measures have been completed. The construction of functional supporting facilities is accelerating, and the first pilot zone is expected to complete closed acceptance within the year.
