On August 19, Moody's confirmed the local and foreign currency long-term/short-term deposit ratings of Hang Seng Bank Limited (referred to as "Hang Seng Bank" 00011.HK) as "Aa3/P-1", the program rating of local currency certificates of deposit (CD) as "(P)Aa3", the basic credit assessment (BCA) as "a3", adjusted BCA as "a2", and the local and foreign currency long-term/short-term counterparty risk ratings (CRRs) as "Aa2/P-1". The long-term/short-term counterparty risk (CR) assessment is "Aa2(cr)/P-1(cr)".
