Trump: Powell is a "disaster", not lowering interest rates seriously damages the US housing industry.

On August 19th local time, US President Trump posted on his social platform "Truthful Social" accusing Federal Reserve Chairman Powell of causing serious damage to the US housing industry by maintaining high interest rate policies. Trump stated that due to high interest rates, many Americans have difficulty obtaining mortgages. He claimed that currently there are "no signs of inflation", and "all signals point to a significant rate cut". Trump finally bluntly stated that Powell is "a disaster".
