Southeast Asian Stock Market Closing Report | Vietnamese stock index closes up more than 1%, hitting a new closing high in history.

On Tuesday, the Vietnam Stock Exchange index rose by 1.09% to 1654.20 points, reaching a new closing high after two trading days, approaching the historical intra-day high of 1666.54 points set on August 15. The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange/VN 30 index also rose by 1.35% to 1810.46 points, setting a new closing high. The Vietnamese dong against the US dollar is currently down by 0.07% at 26,312 dong as of 22:34 Beijing time, having dropped to 26,313 dong at 17:50, a new intra-day historical low. The Thai SET index fell by 0.53%, while the Malaysia FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite index rose by 0.33%. The Indonesian Jakarta Composite index fell by 0.45%, the Indonesian Jakarta Stock Exchange LQ45 index fell by 0.71%, and the Philippine Composite index fell by 0.18%. The Singapore Straits Times Index rose by 0.79% to 4220.60 points.
