U.S. Treasury Secretary Bernst reiterated the imposition of tariffs on Indian purchases of Russian oil.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bennett reiterated that the government plans to increase tariffs on Indian goods due to India's purchase of Russian oil. There is just over a week remaining until these tariffs officially come into effect. "We have plans to increase tariffs on India because of their purchase of sanctioned Russian oil," Bennett said.
