China Shenhua: Guoneng Wanzhou Power Plant Phase II Expansion Project Approved, with a total investment of 6.655 billion yuan.

Shenhua (China) announced that the Phase 2 expansion project of 2x100MW in the Guoneng Chongqing Wanzhou Power Co., Ltd. has been approved by the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission. The total investment of the project is 6.655 billion yuan, with a registered capital of 1.997 billion yuan, accounting for 30%. The project will be funded by 4.658 billion yuan in bank loans, accounting for 70%. The project will construct two 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, and simultaneously construct supporting facilities such as desulfurization and denitrification.
