Turkish Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, stated in a post on X platform that following a meeting with Turkish officials, global streaming service platform Spotify's technology company will open an office in Istanbul in 2026. Ersoy said, "In the short term, we will see tangible progress in terms of the Turkish music ecosystem receiving the support it deserves from Spotify."
