The country's first Marine Museum Alliance was established in Tianjin.
In order to promote the development of marine heritage conservation projects, enhance China's international discourse power and cultural soft power in marine heritage conservation, under the guidance of the Ministry of Natural Resources, on August 18, the Marine Heritage Conservation Professional Committee of the China Oceanographic Society and the Marine Museum Alliance establishment and awarding ceremony was held in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City. China's cultural heritage protection model has shifted from the "solo operation" of cultural relics departments to "collaborative cooperation" involving multiple departments and industries. It is understood that the professional committee and alliance will integrate marine heritage and collection resources from various regions, promote deep cooperation in the fields of marine heritage conservation and utilization, exhibition planning, cultural sharing, education dissemination, and cultural and creative industry development, and address issues such as fragmented protection and dispersed research, and promote the cooperative development of marine museums across the country.
