On August 19, BHP announced its performance for the 2025 fiscal year, with a attributable profit of $9.02 billion, up from $7.9 billion in the previous year, an increase of 14% year-on-year; adjusted EBITDA was $26 billion, a decrease of 10% year-on-year. The rise in copper prices was unable to offset the impact of declining iron ore and coal prices, leading to a 26% year-on-year decrease in adjusted attributable profit to $10.2 billion. Annual revenue also decreased from $55.7 billion in the previous year to $51.3 billion, down 8%.
