Codelco seeks incentive policies for $13 billion Argentine copper mining project.

Glencore has submitted an application to include two copper mining projects with estimated total capital expenditures exceeding $13 billion in Argentina's investment incentive plan. The Swiss company stated that it is seeking tax, tariff, and currency exchange benefits provided by the government plan for the El Pachn project in San Juan province and the Aguarico project in Catamarca province. The plan's Spanish abbreviation is "Rigi."
