Citigroup Group says the S&P 500 index is moving towards higher levels along the "parallel path". Scott Chronert, an equity strategist at the bank, points out that one track is driven by giant growth stocks and the artificial intelligence sector, while the other track is made up of other market sectors. Investors are currently considering which track will drive the next stage of the rise. Citigroup's answer may be a combination of both.
