In the European market at the close on Monday, the yield on the 10-year UK government bond rose by 4.2 basis points to 4.738%. By 15:52 Beijing time, it had dropped to a daily low of 4.659% before rising again, reaching 4.748% by 23:34, approaching the highs of 4.765% on May 29th and 4.809% on March 27th. The yield on the 2-year UK bond rose by 3.2 basis points to 3.965%, with the overall trading range at 3.897%-3.981%, also nearing the high of 4.043% on June 9th. The yield on the 30-year UK bond rose by 4.7 basis points to 5.611%, marking the third consecutive day of increases as it reached 5.621% at the close, nearing the highs of 5.659% on April 9th, matching the high on June 1, 1996, and approaching the high of 6.693% on November 12, 1997. The yield on the 50-year UK bond rose by 4.6 basis points to 4.993%, reaching 5.003% at one point during the close, marking the second consecutive day of setting new highs in intraday trading. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread increased by 0.950 basis points to a total of +77.035 basis points.
