Beijing Housing Provident Fund Management Center: Provide phased support to depositors affected by the flood situation in 2025.
On August 18, the Beijing Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued a notice regarding providing phased support to depositors affected by the flooding in 2025. The notice pointed out that depositors affected by the flooding, who are facing difficulties in their daily life due to the repair of their damaged self-owned houses, can apply to withdraw the balance of their housing provident fund account to cover the repair expenses, which will be determined by the relevant departments such as the township government or street office.
Depositers affected by the flooding, whose self-owned houses are temporarily uninhabitable after the flooding and need to rent a house with proper rental registration, can apply to withdraw their housing provident fund to pay for the rent. They are not subject to the restriction of having continuously deposited the housing provident fund for more than 3 months, the restriction of not owning a house in Beijing, or the monthly deposit limit. The withdrawal limit each month is based on the actual monthly rent. Applicants can submit their application to the housing provident fund management department in their housing location. After verification by the management department and coordination with the district township government, street office, emergency department, and other relevant units, the aforementioned phased support measures will be provided to ensure the precise implementation of the support policy. The phased support measures will be implemented until November 30, 2025.
