Bank of America Merrill Lynch: Raised the target price of HYSR Technology to 57 Hong Kong dollars, upgraded to "buy" rating.
Bank of America Securities released a research report stating that Raytron Technology is being driven by the upgrade of specifications for components in smartphones and improvements in the optical product business environment. The fundamentals are improving, with the company expected to have more stable growth and return to an upward cycle. Therefore, the company's rating has been upgraded from "Neutral" to "Buy", and its earnings forecast for 2025 to 2027 has been raised by 4% to 29% to reflect stronger profit margins. The corresponding target price has been raised from HK$44 to HK$57, with the belief that more structural profit growth should support a revaluation of its valuation. The bank predicts that from 2025 to 2027, Raytron Technology's revenue will see double-digit growth and profit margins will also improve. Shun Yu Optics, the main competitor, is shifting towards the high-end market, which will bring greater growth opportunities for Raytron in the mid-to-high-end market.
