On August 18, Xinghe Power Aerospace announced that, while preparing for the maiden flight of the Zhishenxing-1 medium-sized liquid carrier rocket, the company has accelerated the development of the Zhishenxing-2 new generation large reusable carrier rocket. This is in response to the demand for launching large constellations, completing one mission with one launch, and other high-orbit and deep-space exploration tasks. Recently, the engine system of the Zhishenxing-2 rocket, the CQ-90 100-ton liquid oxygen/kerosene engine gas generator, has successfully completed tests, including tests for various operating conditions, mixing ratios, long-distance runs, multiple ignition verifications, and continuous variable condition tests, with a combustion efficiency of no less than 93%.
