The new inspection area of the Hengqin Port has been in operation for five years, with a total of over 75.64 million passengers passing through.

August 18 this year marks the fifth anniversary of the opening of the new travel inspection area at the Hengqin Port. According to the Macao Public Security Police Force, over the past five years, Hengqin Port has checked in and out more than 75.64 million passengers, becoming a core hub for personnel exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, and integration of people's livelihoods between Guangdong and Macao. It is also an important gateway to the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao deep cooperation zone.
