Since the beginning of this year, Zhejiang has comprehensively promoted the deep integration of scientific and industrial innovation, and the development of high-tech industries in the province has shown a stable and quality-improving, vibrant and innovative development trend. From January to June, the added value of high-tech industries in the province increased by 8.7% year-on-year, with a growth rate higher than that of industrial enterprises above designated size by 1.1 percentage points, accounting for 69.1% of the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size, an increase of 1.7 percentage points from the same period last year. High-tech industries emphasize innovation, with high R&D investment and high product added value, becoming a key focus of active cultivation in various regions. In the first half of the year, the added value of high-tech industries in prefecture-level cities such as Lishui, Wenzhou, Taizhou, Huzhou, Jinhua, and Shaoxing increased by more than 10%. Prefecture-level cities such as Taizhou, Zhoushan, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Hangzhou, and Huzhou have high-tech industry added value accounting for over 70% of the industrial enterprises above designated size.
