At the "2025 Asset Management Annual Conference", Citigroup's Global Macro and Asset Allocation Research Director Dirk Willer shared his investment views on major global markets in the second half of this year. Dirk Willer first outlined Citigroup's asset allocation views: overweight equities (especially in the United States to some extent including Europe), underweight UK equities; neutral stance on government bonds, overweight emerging market bonds, underweight Japanese government bonds; underweight investment-grade credits in Europe and the United States; neutral stance on commodities; shorting the US dollar and long on the euro and some emerging market currencies. In terms of the stock market, Dirk Willer pointed out that the "American exception" has clearly returned, as can be seen from its performance relative to Europe and other regions globally, with the key driver being the return of artificial intelligence trading - the performance of the technology sector leading the US market to become a key support.
