The U.S. State Department has announced a temporary suspension of issuing visitor visas to individuals from Gaza.

On August 16th local time, the US State Department announced on social platform X that all visitor visas from Gaza will be temporarily suspended while a comprehensive and thorough review of the process and procedures for issuing a small number of temporary medical humanitarian visas is conducted.
