Statistics from the Three Gorges Ship Lift Management Bureau show that as of the 15th, the world's largest "ship elevator" - the Three Gorges Ship Lift, has accumulated a passenger volume exceeding 2 million, less than 9 years since its trial operation in September 2016. The leap from 1 million to 2 million passengers took only 1 year and 7 months.
