The Beijing Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission, in conjunction with the Beijing Meteorological Bureau, issued a geological disaster meteorological risk blue warning at 18:00 on August 15. From 18:00 on August 15 to 18:00 on August 16, there is a risk of geological disasters such as collapses, landslides, and mudslides in the central part of Huairou District, the southern part of Miyun District, and the eastern and western parts of Pinggu District. Please be vigilant and take precautions. The Beijing Water Authority and the Beijing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a blue warning for waterlogging at 17:00 on August 15, 2025. It is expected that from 17:00 on August 15 to 8:00 on August 16, there is a risk of localized waterlogging in Chaoyang District, Tongzhou District, and Fengtai District in Beijing. Citizens are reminded to pay attention to the weather conditions and changes in rainfall, avoid low-lying areas when traveling, and take precautions for underground spaces.
