Hengqin Port has seen over 2 million vehicles entering and leaving the port this year.

Since the beginning of this year, as of 12:00 on August 15th, the Gongbei Customs has inspected and released over 2 million vehicles entering and exiting through the Hengqin Port, which is more than 3 months ahead of last year, an increase of 45.7% compared to the same period. Among them, the number of Macau single-license cars entering and exiting Hengqin exceeded 1.3152 million, accounting for 65.8%. Customs and four other inspection units in Guangdong and Macau jointly enforce the law at the port lanes, allowing cross-border vehicles to be "queued, sampled, and released" in one go. Currently, the average inspection and release time at customs has been shortened to 23 seconds, making the exchange of personnel between Hengqin and Macau more efficient and the flow of elements smoother, injecting momentum into the integrated development of Hengqin and Macau.
