Macao Statistics and Census Bureau: Macao's GDP in the second quarter increased by 5.1% year-on-year.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on August 15, the Macao Statistics and Census Bureau announced the revised detailed results of the local gross domestic product for the second quarter. The data shows that, benefiting from a series of measures to attract tourists, the number of visitors to Macao recorded a significant increase in the second quarter of this year, coupled with stable overall private consumption, leading to the economic recovery of the Macao Special Administrative Region to positive growth. The revised value of Macao's local gross domestic product in the second quarter of 2025 is 100.39 billion Macao Patacas, a substantial increase of 5.1% year-on-year, with the overall economic scale returning to 88.8% of the same period in 2019.
