National Bureau of Statistics: Focus on building a new growth pole of green development. The "green content" of economic development continues to increase.

On August 15, Fu Linghui, the spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, stated that in response to the major trend of green and low-carbon development, China is actively creating a new growth pole for green development, achieving significant results, and continuously increasing the "green content" of economic development. In July, the production of new energy vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and other new energy products increased by 17.1% and 29.4% year-on-year respectively, while the production of green materials such as carbon fiber and bio-based chemical fibers increased by 43.8% and 19.8% respectively. The green transformation also creates good opportunities for the development of the green recycling industry, with the value added of comprehensive utilization of waste resources increasing by 11.7% year-on-year in July.
