National Bureau of Statistics talks about the continuous expansion of the year-on-year increase of core CPI: mainly due to the effective implementation of the special consumer stimulus action since the beginning of this year.

Fu Linghui, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, Chief Economist, and Director of the Department of National Economic Comprehensive Statistics, stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that the year-on-year increase in core CPI has continued to expand. This is mainly due to the effective implementation of the consumption promotion action plan since the beginning of this year, which has gradually released the consumption potential of goods and services, enhancing the driving force for prices. In addition, the steady advancement of the construction of a unified domestic market and the governance of enterprises' disorderly competition according to law and regulations have also promoted price increases.
