From January to July, the national urban surveyed unemployment rate had an average of 5.2%. In July, the national urban surveyed unemployment rate was 5.2%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, and the same as the same month last year. The surveyed unemployment rate for local registered labor force was 5.3%; for migrant registered labor force it was 5.1%, with a surveyed unemployment rate of 4.9% for migrant agricultural registered labor force. The surveyed unemployment rate for 31 major cities was 5.2%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the same month last year. The average weekly working hours for employed personnel in the country was 48.5 hours.
