Hong Kong SAR Government: US interference in Hong Kong's rule of law through so-called human rights report is doomed to fail.

On August 14th, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government strongly expressed its dissatisfaction and opposition to the inaccurate and biased content related to Hong Kong in the so-called 2024 Human Rights Report by the US State Department. A spokesperson for the SAR government stated that the US has once again resorted to old tricks, using the so-called report to maliciously discredit Hong Kong's successful implementation of "one country, two systems". The US repeatedly places politics above the rule of law, politicizes human rights issues, attempts to intervene in Hong Kong's lawful governance, and disrupt its prosperity and stability, destined to end in failure.
