The sovereign bond yields of France and Italy have risen by around 4 basis points.
At the end of the European market on Thursday, the yield on French 10-year government bonds rose by 3.8 basis points to 3.375%. The yield on Italian 10-year government bonds rose by 4.0 basis points to 3.491%. The yield on Spanish 10-year government bonds rose by 3.4 basis points to 3.266%. The yield on Greek 10-year government bonds rose by 2.4 basis points to 3.346%. So far this week, Italian bond yields have cumulatively risen by 1.2 basis points, with a significant increase on Tuesday, followed by a decrease as expectations of a Fed rate cut increased. After the release of US PPI on Thursday, the yield on 10-year Greek bonds rose by 1.4 basis points. Italy and Greece will be closed for trading on Friday.
