Canalys: The shipment of smartphones in the Middle East is expected to increase by 15% in the second quarter of 2025

According to the report from Canalys (now part of Omdia), the latest research shows that in the second quarter of 2025, the smartphone market in the Middle East (excluding Turkey) saw a year-on-year increase of 15%, reaching 13.2 million units, making it the fastest-growing region in the world. This rebound was driven by consumers focusing on value for money, increased spending during holidays, and strong economic momentum, despite geopolitical uncertainties. The smartphone shipment in this region is expected to continue to grow.
