August 14th: The "200 Index of Agricultural Wholesale Prices" has risen by 0.17 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on August 14, the "200 index of wholesale prices of agricultural products" was 114.75, an increase of 0.17 points from yesterday, and the "basket of vegetables" product wholesale price index was 115.05, an increase of 0.19 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 20.23 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; beef was 64.91 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; mutton was 59.85 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday; eggs were 7.52 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% from yesterday; and chicken was 17.39 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.9% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.74 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.9% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 6.95 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. The price of crucian carp was 22.38 yuan/kg, an increase of 2.3% from yesterday; carp was 15.69 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.3% from yesterday; white carp was 10.27 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 41.19 yuan/kg, an increase of 4.2% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the highest price increases compared to yesterday are bighead carp, white radish, cauliflower, spinach, and yellow croaker, with increases of 4.2%, 3.7%, 3.5%, 2.8%, and 2.7% respectively; the top five with the highest price decreases are duck pears, spring onions, garlic sprouts, leeks, and pineapples, with decreases of 3.3%, 3.2%, 1.6%, 1.3%, and 1.1% respectively.
