The European Union makes a second anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on China's aluminium foil: continuing to impose anti-dumping duties.

On August 7th, the European Commission announced that it had made a final ruling on the second anti-dumping sunset review of aluminum foil in rolls originating from China: if the current anti-dumping measures are lifted, the dumping of the products in question would continue to or reoccur and cause damage to the EU industry. Therefore, it has been decided to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on Chinese products involved, with rates ranging from 14.2% to 35.6%. The period of the sunset review anti-dumping investigation is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, and the period of industrial damage analysis is from January 1, 2020 to the end of the sunset review investigation.
