American media reports that the "Putin Summit" does not discuss the issue of dividing Russian and Ukrainian territories.

The NBC reported on the 13th that during a video conference with European leaders, President Trump of the United States stated that his meeting with Russian President Putin on the 15th "does not intend to discuss any possible territorial division issues." Ukrainian President Zelensky participated in this video conference. The report quoted two European officials and three other informed sources as saying that Trump also stated during the video conference that the goal of this meeting is to "ensure a ceasefire in Ukraine." The report stated that both Trump and European leaders believe that in order to achieve peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, a ceasefire must first be achieved in Ukraine. Some European leaders got the impression from this video conference that Trump is not optimistic about whether this meeting can yield results.
