Hubei: Over 210,000 consumers switched to new cars this year.

As of August 1, more than 210,000 residents in Hubei province have applied for subsidies for scrappage and replacement of automobiles this year, directly boosting new car consumption by 32.5 billion yuan. Among the new cars purchased through the replacement program, electric vehicles account for 57%, accelerating the transformation of car consumption towards green and intelligent. In late August, the province will also distribute 1 billion yuan worth of "Hui Gou Hubei" summer retail and dining coupons, including coupons for the automotive aftermarket for the first time in the central region. This initiative provides discounts for consumers purchasing tires, engine oil, and other automotive maintenance products, promoting the entire automotive consumption chain.
