Liu Liehong, a member of the party group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, introduced at the "High-quality completion of the '14th Five-Year Plan'" series of theme news conference held by the State Council Information Office on August 14 that China's digital infrastructure has achieved significant development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. China's digital infrastructure is in a leading position in the world in terms of scale and technology. By the end of June 2025, the total number of 5G base stations reached 4.55 million, with 226 million households using gigabit broadband, and the total computing power ranking second in the world, effectively driving economic and social development.
