The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue typhoon warning at 06:00 on August 14th.

Typhoon "Yangliu," the 11th typhoon of this year, made landfall along the coast of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province at around 00:30 today, with a maximum wind force near the center reaching level 11 and a minimum central pressure of 990 hPa. At 5 a.m. today, the center of the typhoon was located in Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, at latitude 24.4 degrees north and longitude 115.9 degrees east, with a maximum wind force of level 9 and a minimum central pressure of 995 hPa. It is expected that "Yangliu" will move west-northwest at a speed of 30 to 35 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity.
