Egypt and Sailun have signed an agreement to build a new tire factory, with a total investment of up to 1 billion dollars.

The Egyptian Cabinet issued a statement on August 13, stating that Egypt has signed an agreement with Sailun Group to build a tire manufacturing plant in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. The plant is expected to be completed in three years with a total investment of up to $1 billion, and is expected to produce over 10 million tires annually upon completion.
