Estonia declares a Russian diplomat as "persona non grata".

On August 13, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the temporary charg d'affaires of the Russian Embassy in Estonia and declared a first secretary of the Russian Embassy as "persona non grata," demanding that this diplomat must leave Estonia. Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that the expelled Russian diplomat was directly involved in activities that undermine the constitutional order and legal system of Estonia, divide Estonian society, and promote criminal activities that harm the country. The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on its official website that day: "Estonia will not tolerate Russian activities that undermine the constitutional order and domestic stability of Estonia."
