The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) announced on August 11 that driven by demand in the US market, the total export of Brazilian eggs (including fresh eggs and processed eggs) reached 5,259 tons in July 2025, a year-on-year increase of 304.7%; the export revenue was $11.808 million, a year-on-year increase of 340.9%. However, the measure announced by US President Trump to impose a 50% tariff on imported goods, including various Brazilian food products, took effect on August 6. This measure may impact the future performance of Brazilian exports to the US, such as eggs, beef, coffee, and other main agricultural products. (Xinhua Finance)
