Guangzhou Automobile Group (02238): GAC Aion intends to increase its capital by 600 million yuan to Huawang Auto.

The CITIC Securities APP announced that Guangzhou Automobile Group (02238) has approved the "Proposal on Guangzhou Ai'an Investment Huawang Automobile" on August 13, 2025. It agreed that its subsidiary Guangzhou Ai'an New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Guangzhou Ai'an") will increase its capital by 600 million yuan to Huawang Automobile Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Huawang Automobile"). After this capital increase, the company will directly hold 71.43% of Huawang Automobile's equity, and indirectly hold 28.57% of Huawang Automobile's equity through Guangzhou Ai'an.
