The price increase of resources has led to a significant rise in the prices of individual low-capacity eMMCs, and it is feared that some embedded products may experience a price inversion in the future.

Recently, there have been reports in the market that some manufacturers have postponed their plans to stop production of DDR4, and some high-priced DDR4 chips have been adjusted downwards. However, there has been no panic selling. The short-term delivery pressure of LPDDR4X still exists, and memory manufacturers continue to push up the prices of LPDDR4X products, although the increase is relatively moderate. In the embedded sector, some manufacturers are supplying a certain quantity of low-capacity eMMC products to mainstream customers, while also releasing some MLC NAND resources to downstream memory manufacturers. Prices have increased significantly, and most memory manufacturers have raised prices of corresponding low-capacity eMMC products in line with the increase in resource prices. If the price of low-capacity MLC NAND continues to rise, there may be a situation where prices for 8/16/32GB eMMC and 64GB eMMC products are completely reversed in the future.
