On August 12, the Jiangsu Provincial Government held a special meeting on stabilizing foreign trade and investment. The meeting focused on deeply studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on opening up to the outside world, as well as the important speeches at the Central Political Bureau meeting. The meeting also emphasized the comprehensive implementation of the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, analyzed and assessed the current situation, studied and arranged countermeasures, effectively stabilized the foundation of foreign trade and investment, and provided strong support for consolidating and expanding the momentum of economic recovery and fulfilling the responsibility of being a major economic province. The meeting was chaired and addressed by Governor Xu Kunlin.
