US stocks surge more than 1%, S&P and Nasdaq hit new highs again.

The US stock market opened higher and closed with all three major indexes up more than 1%. The Nasdaq rose 1.39%, the Dow rose 1.10%, and the S&P 500 rose 1.14%. The telecommunications, technology, financial, raw materials, and industrial sectors all rose by at least 1%. Most large technology stocks rose, with Intel up more than 5%, Meta up more than 3%, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and AMD up over 1%, NVIDIA, Amazon, and Tesla up slightly. UnitedHealth and Goldman Sachs closed up more than 3.2% initially, Boeing rose more than 2.6%, leading the Dow Jones component stocks.
