The Ministry of Natural Resources has initiated a level IV response to geological disaster prevention in Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong provinces.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Meteorological Department's forecast shows that due to the impact of Typhoon "Yangliu" (Typhoon No. 11), there will be heavy rainfall in some areas of Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong. The Geological Hazard Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources has assessed that there is a high risk of geological hazards in southwestern Fujian, southern Jiangxi, eastern and northern Guangdong, and other areas. In accordance with the "Work Plan for Geological Disaster Response" of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Natural Resources initiated a Level IV response to geological disasters at 14:00 on August 12th.
