Douyin's blackboard announcement stated: "Recently, there has been a large amount of discussion on the internet regarding the 'ideal car owner', and some of the content contains misleading and attacking remarks. After receiving complaints and reports from Ideal Cars Company, the platform actively verified and handled the content that violated community rules. In accordance with the Douyin Community Hot Information and Account Governance Rules, the platform actively disposed of content and accounts that improperly exploited the incident for marketing purposes, maliciously hyped it up, including but not limited to: creating parodies or filming 'ideal car owners parking improperly', personal attacks on ideal car owners, and falsely claiming to have been 'banned' by altering their profile picture."
